Road crossing track inserts Peco #5 point.
There are 5 pieces plus an extra card in the pack.
You can make it look like either concrete or bitumen when you paint and weather it.
To install, I recommend that you seal the card with a couple of light coats of acrylic matt varnish (I use Vallejo Acrylic matt varnish #28.531) letting it dry for an hour or so between coats.
Use some strips of the card under the insert pieces to bring them up to just below the top of the rail so you can clean the track and your trains do not ride up off the track.
You should use a dry brush method when painting and weathering the card so it doesn't get wet and swell.
I suggest using 3 or 4 colours that represent the stippled look of concrete or bitumen. Then, alternating between them, and keeping your brush super dry, slowly build up the paint unlit you get the look you are after.
Once dry, add oil stains and weathering powder to finish.
You can also give it a light coat of matt varnish to protect the crossing.
