Shipping info

Orders generally ship within 2 working days for in-stock items.

Out of stock items can take up to 3 weeks, longer if our material suppliers are out of stock.

Please note that since COVID there have been delays from time to time in getting supplies, if your order is going to be delayed more than 3 weeks we will be in touch.

Transit time

All our international orders ship with DHL and should get to you within 4 to 14 business days.

Australian orders ship with Australia Post and should get to you within 3 to 12 

business days.

Cost of shipping

Shipping will automatically be calculated at check out.

Free shipping is based on your country and the order value. The free amount is shown in the free shipping banner at the top of the page.

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at themodeller@abrmodelworks.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The shipping cost of the return

The shipping cost of a return is at your expense unless we have made an error, in which case we will pay for return shipping.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

There are no returns on our Limited Run Kits or custom made to order items.

Custom orders

Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

There is a restocking fee on returned products for exchanges of 5% plus what it cost us to ship it to you if shipping was free.

Refunds

There is a restocking fee on returned products of 20% plus what it cost us to ship it to you if shipping was free.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Can anyone build an ABR kit?

We have designed our kits to be as easy to build as possible, so with time and a little patience the answer is yes. We also include full instructions and we have a YouTube channel with build videos to help.

Can a child build an ABR kit?

Our kits are made for the beginner hobbyist and above, with that in mind children 14 years and older (with some experience) should be fine, younger children will need adult assistance.

If I make a mistake can I get parts?

On our standard stocked range of kits, yes. Just email us with a photo of the part and the name/part number of the kit and we'll get back to you with availability and pricing.

If it's a limited run kit most likely, however, some parts may be a once off production run, in which case we may not be able to supply the exact part.

What if something is missing or wrong with the kit?

Well, we are human after all, so mistakes are bound to happen now and then, but we will fix it as quickly as possible.
