Modular Model Building System

The Modular Model Building System has been designed, to be a flexible building system that is easy to build whatever type of industrial, commercial or municipal building you need for your model railway.

Here are two buildings that will soon be available in kits.

Although they are single-storey buildings, they are an example of what you can do.

The system is made up of panels that have a simple tab & slot together, design making the assembly process a breeze.

Our Concrete & Brick modular series has 3 styles, 3 widths and comes 1 to 6 storey panels which are stackable to giving whatever height you need.

The 3 styles are a concrete only face.

One opening per storey where you insert a brick panel or window.

Two openings per storey where you insert a brick panel or window in the top opening and brick in the bottom.

The single and double opening panels come with both brick inserts and windows per storey so you can choose the look and configuration at the time of building.

Our brick inserts are engraved on both sides so when you look in the window you see brick where it should be.

The 3 widths full 3" or 76mm, half 1 1/25" 38mm and Qtr 3/4" 19mm.

Now because of the tab & slot system when adding a series of panels together to make a wall.

The overall length of the wall is the combined length of all the panels, plus 1/8 or 3mm to allow for the wall thickness.

All 3 styles of panels in full width come in 1-panel packs, 4-panel packs and 8-panel packs.

Larger packs save you money on your build.

Half and qtr come in 1-panel packs as they are used as spacers etc.

We have 4 ground floor entrances and doors ways and 3 loading dock height entrances and doors.

• 1 storey Main entrance with a 3D printed set of steps, doors and windows
• 1 storey Single door and two windows that are 3D printed
• 1 storey high bay with laser engraved roller door
• 2 storey high bay with laser engraved roller door

The roller doors can be assembled open, partly open or closed.

Loading-bay height doors

• 1 storey loading bay with laser engraved roller door
• 1 storey Recessed undercover truck loading bay with laser engraved roller door
• 1 storey Recessed, loading bay height, worker access door with 3D printed door and windows

If your building is more storeys higher than the doorway you wish to use, say it's a 4 storey building and you are using a 1 story doorway you just add a 3 storey panel on top.

There is a loading bay dock that is available in 1 to 4 bay packs, each being 3" or 76mm wide to match the std panels.

They but together so add as many as you need.

There is also a corner dock to wrap around your building.

Once glued together the building does not need bracing however you are free to add some if you think your building needs it or is quite large.

Having said that each panel comes with spacers so you can add floors to each storey if you want and they act as bracing.

Floors come in squares that you glue together to make the size and shape you need and there is also some std sizes like the ones used in kits
